The History of Highland Manor Inn in Townsend TN
The couple originally bought the land the hotel is on in 1981. The property was known as the “Company Farm,” a reference to the lumber company that operated in the area in the past. The hotel sits on a hill that gets a lot of natural light which gives guests a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Don and Sandy thought the area was perfect and began construction immediately. Now, our hotel in Townsend TN is filled with great rooms with fireplaces, jacuzzi tubs and even personal balconies.
