The trail runs parallel to Hwy US 321 in Townsend, with road signs denoting beginning and end. Along the trail you will find shops, restaurants, grocery stores, hotels and the Townsend Visitors Center. A nice underground tunnel keeps you safe if you do not wish to cross the road.
