Some of the best times to visit Gatlinburg are the months of September and October. If you want to see the color change October-November are peak months. From coffee and donut shops to gift stores malls and rides, Downtown Gatlinburg has something for everyone.

During your visit you will find a large mall with indoor attractions. In addition, an indoor ice skating rink, snack bars, places to eat and shop. Outside you will find an alpine slide and the ski mountain coaster. In addition, rides for kids, rock climbing and more fun things to do.

Arcadia Gatlinburg – If you love arcade games this is just the place for you.

Known as Gatlinburg’s Family Fun Arcade, spend hours having fun and winning great prizes. The arcade is located below the Gatlinburg Space Needle and beside Slice Pizza Bakery.

Ripley’s Aquarium – The Ripley’s Aquarium located in Gatlinburg, TN is one of the most popular attractions in the area. In addition, it has been rated the #1 aquarium in the nation by the USA Today. Among the fun things to do we recommend these exhibits including Tropical Rainforest and the Ocean Realm.

The Village Shops – A charming spot with some unique stores and food. Here you will find a great variety of shops from cafes, sock store,  jewelry, Celtic, toys, candy and more.

Gatlinburg Sky Lift

A trip to Gatlinburg would not be complete without visiting the Gatlinburg Sky Lift Park. Here you can ride the iconic yellow SkyLift chairs and experience views from 1,800 feet above sea level. In addition, you can walk across North America’s record-breaking Gatlinburg SkyBridge where the views are spectacular.

Walking across the bridge is very exciting.The SkyBridge stretches about 700 feet across. Therefore it is close to 2 football fields. Think of the fun family photos you can take. Take as long as you need to cross and enjoy the views. With heights close to 500 ft and the downtown area close by this is an experience that you will remember forever.
