Make sure to check out some of the trains and waterfalls as well. They are well worth the hike.

Visit Dollywood Amusement Park

If you haven’t made the trip to Dollywood add it to your list. The views from rides like Wild Eagle, Tennessee Tornado, and Lightning Rod are amazing.

Take a ride on the Dollywood Express. Get on the Dollywood Express and enjoy a 5 mile ride through the Great Smoky Mountain foothills. Bring your camera and take lots of photos! The landscape is beautiful.


Explore The Gatlinburg Strip

So many options and things to do on the Gatlinburg strip. Many restaurants, distilleries for those looking for some moonshine and tons of shops. There is an aquarium and crafts and entertainment on every block. Check out the Donut Friar for the best donuts you will ever eat. Seriously!

Explore Townsend Tennesse

Do You like Trains? Make sure to visit The Little River Railroad & Lumber Company Museum. Located in Townsend Tennessee across from The Highland Manor Inn. It is the place to go for some great railroad history. The Little River Railroad and Lumber Company is a non-profit corporation founded in 1982 to preserve the heritage of the the Little River Lumber Company and the Little River Railroad. Take pics on the train, walk the grounds and visit the gift shop. Always a great day.
