John Oliver Cabin – The John Oliver historical cabin is the first building you will encounter. Set back off the road, its an easy 5 minute walk to the structure.
Primitive Baptist Church – This congregation was the first of three churches established in Cades Cove. The modernly framed structure was constructed in 1887 and is a great visit.
Methodist Church – Built in 1902 by carpenter/pastor John D. McCampbell. A two front door design which was common in the 1800’s in the Smokies sets this building apart.

Gourley’s Pond – often overlooked by visitors as you cant see from the trail.
– Directions to the pond. Park your car at the LeQuire Cemetery parking area past the south end of Sparks Lane. Then, walk the loop road for about 200 feet. You will see a path on your right. Follow the trail for about 100 feet, then head southwest until you see the pond. Explore and be rewarded.
Hyatt Lane – A great way to see cades cove from the center. In addition, it can be used to go back around the loop for another trip
